ALL THE ANIMALS HAVE ALREADY BEEN RELOCATED TO THE NEW SANCTUARY!!

The Sanctuary was founded when Coque and Ismael rescued Palma, a sow who was in a rural estate in Valencia along with 6 other pigs. Three of these disappeared, but it was very suspicious when a blood-stained table was found in the estate. There were 60 dogs too, and 30 of them had starved to death.
A week after her rescue, Palma gave birth to six piglets. Coque and Ismael didn’t want to separate them. They wanted to keep the family together and that was the beginning of this great project which has saved over 400 lives so far.

Today the animals who were still in #Ogassa have arrived to the new Sanctuary in #Camprodon. We all are finally back together. We start a new period, with renovated energies to save many more lives. Palma, the big mama, has been the last one to arrive. A big moment that we all have lived full of joy and enthusiasm.

Pictured is part of the Gaia great team of volunteers celebrating Palma’s arrival.

Will you help us bring the other residents to the new Sanctuary?
