Ella es una yegua gallega salvaje de 27 años a la que domaron hace mucho tiempo, y que en el momento en el que ya dejó de ser útil al hacerse mayor, la abandonaron.
Fue a subasta y como nadie la quiso, iba a ser enviada al matadero, pero nuestros amigos del Santuario de Galicia Vacaloura, Santuario Animal – castellano la rescataron, para que pudiera venir a Santuario Gaia.
Ahora estará unos días con ellos hasta que encontremos un transporte para traerla. Una historia muy triste pero con un final feliz, y que con vuestra ayuda conseguiremos darle la vida que nunca tuvo.

She’s a 27 year-old Galician wild mare who was tamed many years ago just to be abandoned when she grew old and stopped being profitable.
She was auctioned but in the absence of any bids to buy her she was going to be sent to the slaughterhouse. Fortunately she was rescued by our friends form Vacaloura Sanctuary in Galicia and she will come over to Gaia Sanctuary.
Lidia will spend the next few days with them until we find the means of transport to bring her over. This is a sad story with a happy ending. With your help we can give Lidia the life she deserves.
