HEMOS SALVADO DE LA MUERTE A ESTAS TRES PRECIOSIDADES
Estas tres gallinas han llegado al Santuario porque las tenía un particular, que al haber bajado su producción de huevos ya no las quería y las iba a matar. Por suerte, una familiar vegana lo ha convencido para que no lo hiciera y la dejara que las trajera al Santuario y así pudieran vivir el resto de sus vidas.
Las gallinas tienen una esperanza de vida de unos 15 años, pero sobre los dos años bajan su producción de huevos, momento en el que ya no son rentables y las matan.

WE’VE SAVED THESE THREE BEAUTIES FROM SLAUGHTER
These three hens have arrived to the Sanctuary. They were owned by an individual who didn´t want them any longer after a decrease in their egg production. They were going to be slaughtered. Fortunately, a vegan relative of his, persuaded him to hand them over to the Sanctuary where they could spend the rest or their natural lives.
Hens average lifespan is around 15 years. However, when they become 2 years old their egg production decreases and are sent to the slaughterhouse because they’re not profitable any more.
