Celia y Emma, dos amigas de diferentes especies

En la sociedad que vivimos, la gran mayoría a una de ellas la consideraría una amiga o como un miembro de su familia, sin embargo a la otra es considerada un alimento para los humanos. Desde Santuario Gaia os queremos enseñar que no hay diferencia entre ninguna, y que todos los animales, humanos y no humanos, queremos vivir, y queremos hacerlo en libertad, sin ser explotados, maltratados ni asesinados.

Celia and Emma, two friends from different species. 

Celia (the baby goat) has been raised in the house where the founders of the sanctuary live, and she’s been spending a lot of time with Emma (the kitten). This has made them to develop a very strong friendship bond.

Now that Celia stays outdoors during the day, Emma looks after her to lay by her side. They’re from different species, but their friendship stands above that. 

Within our society, most of people would consider one of them a companion or a family member, whereas the other would be consider as food for humans. Santuario Gaia wants to show there’s no difference between them, and that all animals, humans and non-humans, want to live their lives in freedom, free-from exploitation, abuse or murder.
