Cada día al oscurecer, los patos esperan a que lleguen sus cuidadores para entrar a su habitación, porque les encanta aprovechar hasta el último momento fuera.
Anoche, Ismael, uno de los fundadores, mientras iba dirigiendo con la linterna a los patos hacia su habitación, cogió en brazos a Auri, la pata que os contamos hace unos días que tiene una fractura.
Cuando Abigail, la oca que aparece en esta fotografía, vio que Ismael cogía en brazos a Auri, se negaba a andar, y se tumbaba delante suya, impidiendo así que pudiera andar. Él la intentaba empujar para que anduviera a su habitación, pero no había manera de conseguirlo, ella lo que estaba pidiendo es que la cogiera en brazos también, y así hizo su cuidador.
Abigail es una oca muy especial, y que siente debilidad por su cuidador Ismael, tanto que cuando le ve o escucha que él la llama, va hacia él para que le acaricie o para tumbarse a su lado.

Every day at dusk, the Sanctuary ducks wait for their carers to get into their sleeping quarters as they love to enjoy every minute outdoors.
Last night, Ismael, one of the founders of the Sanctuary, was leading the ducks to the sleeping area with a lantern, and picked Auri up (she’s the duck with a leg fracture we told you about a few days ago).
When Abigail, the goose pictured, realised that Ismael picked Auri up, she refused to walk and laid down in front of Ismael not letting him walk. He tried to gently push her to her room, but there was no way to move her. What she really wanted was to be picked up, and so did Ismael.
Abigail is a very special goose, really fond of his carer Ismael, so much that whenever she sees or hears him calling for her, goes towards him to lay by his side and be stroked.
