TRES CERDITOS DEL ACCIDENTE DE CAMIÓN VIENEN A SANTUARIO GAIA
Hace unos días volcó en La Rioja un camión con 804 cerdos, de los cuales la mitad murieron en el acto o los mataron en el lugar del accidente.
Unos activistas por los derechos animales pudieron salvar a dieciséis, de los cuales tres van a venir al Santuario. Uno de ellos tiene rotura de tibia y otro de cadera y fémur, así que mañana se trasladarán de urgencia a una clínica veterinaria donde en principio se operará al más grave y al otro estudiará cuando hacerlo.
La operación del cerdito del fémur se tiene que pagar por adelantado y son 650€.

THREE PIGLETS FROM THE LORRY ACCIDENT WILL COME TO SANTUARIO GAIA
A few days ago, a lorry loaded with 804 pigs overturned in La Rioja. Half of the animals either died in the accident or where slaughtered there.
Some animal rights activists could save 16 pigs, and three of them will come to the Sanctuary. One of them has the shinbone fractured, and another one the hip and the femur broken. Tomorrow they’ll be taken to a vet practice. The one in most critical condition will undergo surgery and the other one will be further examined to assess what can be done.
The surgery to the pig with the broken femur has to be paid in advance and it amounts to 650€.
