El 10 de abril del año pasado, os anunciábamos por facebook que Lidia había sido rescatada por Vacaloura, Santuario Animal – castellano para venir a Santuario Gaia.
Ella había sido subastada para ir al matadero, después de haber llevado una vida de esclavitud. Ahora tiene 28 años y está viviendo en libertad sin ser explotada, y como veis en la imagen su aspecto físico ha cambiado muchísimo a mejor, siendo ahora la yegua más preciosa de toda la comarca ♥

A YEAR AGO TODAY WE INTRODUCED YOU TO LIDIA
On 10th April last year, we announced on Facebook that Lidia had been rescued by Vacaloura, Santuario Animal, to come to Santuario Gaia.
After a life of slavery she had been auctioned to be taken to the slaughterhouse. She is now 28 years old and she’s living free, without being exploited. As you can see in the picture, even her physical appearance has changed a lot for the better, becoming the most beautiful mare in the whole region ♥
