Ella es una oveja que estaba en una carretera, en muy mal estado. Como se puede ver en esta imagen, está muy delgada y se le notan las costillas. Estaba cubierta de pinchos que ya le hemos podido quitar.

Por el camino le contábamos donde la llevábamos, describiéndole todo y explicándole que la íbamos a cuidar. Lo curioso ha sido que justo unos metros antes de llegar al Santuario, comenzó a balar sin parar, como si supiera que ese era el lugar. En cuanto ha bajado de la furgoneta se ha puesto a comer hierba sin parar.

Por sus mamas sabemos que ha sido madre varias veces, así que ha tenido que sufrir la separación de sus hijos, los cuales eran enviados al matadero.

Ahora ya no sufrirás más, ahora te toca ser feliz.

She’s a sheep that was on a very poor state by the roadside. As you can appreciate on this picture she’s very thin and her ribs can be noticed. She was covered with thorns that we have already managed to remove.

On the way to the Sanctuary we were explaining her where she was being taken and how much we were going to look after her. It was a curious thing that she started bleating just a few meters before we arrived at the Sanctuary, as if she knew that was the place. As soon as she got off the van she started to graze non-stop.

Because of her udders we know that she has given birth several times and that she has suffered the separation from her offsprings. They have most probably been sent to the slaughterhouse.

Rosa, you won’t suffer any more. Now it’s your turn to be happy.
