¿Que los animales no tienen sentimientos?
Hace tres semanas que Coque y yo nos vinimos al nuevo Santuario a empezar a trabajar para dejarlo todo listo y así poder traer a los demás habitantes. Durante todo este tiempo hemos estado apartados de los casi 260 animales que viven en Santuario Gaia, solo íbamos de vez en cuando porque Ramón está allí cuidándolos.
Cada vez que íbamos venían todos corriendo a saludarnos al ver la furgoneta, pero los momentos más bonitos los estamos viviendo desde que los hemos traído al nuevo lugar.
El primer día que vinieron me tuve que pasar todo el día con ellos fuera, porque no me dejaban salir. Si salía, Verónica, Helena, David, Fabiola, Adam y Rubén se ponían a llorar, así que me quedé todo el día junto a ellos para que estuvieran tranquilos y se sintieran protegidos.
Como estamos trabajando todo el día arreglando el nuevo sitio, en cuanto entramos donde están ellos se ponen a correr hacia nosotros chillando muy contentos. David, con lo gamberrete e independiente que ha sido siempre, no para de rozarse con nosotros, subiéndose encima, al igual que Vero y otros muchos. Se les nota demasiado que nos quieren y que nos han echado mucho de menos.
Somos afortunados de vivir estos momentos, y tenemos la obligación de contaros todo lo que vivimos, y así dar a conocer como son los animales cuando no son explotados ni utilizados como objetos para nuestro beneficio.
Hoy tengo el corazón lleno.»

«Animals don’t have feelings?»
Three weeks ago, Coque and I moved to the new Sanctuary to start the oustanding work and leave it ready prior to the residents arrival. During this time, we have been apart from the nearly 260 animals who live in Santuario Gaia. We only went on a few occasions to the old sanctuary because Ramón was there looking after the animals.
When we visited, them all came running to greet us as soon as they saw the van arriving. However, we’re living the sweetest moments now that we’ve relocated them to the new place.
The day they arrived, I had to spend the whole day with them because they wouldn’t let me to get out from their enclosure. If I went out, Verónica, Helena, David, Fabiola, Adam and Rubén started crying, so I spent the whole day with them to make them feel relaxed and protected.
We spend the whole day building the new facilities, and as soon as we get into their areas, they come running to us full of joy. David, who has always been very mischievous and independent, doesn´t stop rubbing against us, jumping on top of us… and so do Vero and few others. You can tell how much they love and have missed us.
We’re very fortunate to live these moments, and it’s our duty to tell you about our experiences so that you can see how animals really are when they are not exploited or treated as objects for our own profit.
Today my heart is fulfilled.»
