Ismael, uno de los fundadores del Santuario, estaba contándole a Ramón y Guillem el espacio que están preparando en el nuevo terreno para ellos. Un espacio de 7 mil metros donde podrán correr y comer hierba fresca.
Mientras le contaba como es el nuevo sitio, apareció Marina y se quedó escuchándole atentamente, así que también le explicó a ella como es su nuevo hogar, y que muy pronto podrán ir todos allí.
Ramón y Guillem fueron dos supervivientes de las inundaciones del Ebro a su paso por Zaragoza, y aunque no teníamos espacio le dimos acogida en el Santuario porque pensábamos que saldría bien lo del nuevo terreno. Viven en un espacio muy pequeño que se habilitó para poderlos salvar, así que estamos deseando llevarlos al nuevo sitio y verlos correr como merecen, pero para ello antes debemos de preparar el vallado del sitio donde van a estar.
Marina es una oveja que llegó desde Mallorca porque estaba atada a un árbol embarazada y ciega en pleno verano, para dejarla morir. A las dos semanas de llegar al Santuario dio a luz a su hija Lucy. Los fundadores del Santuario, con mucho esfuerzo consiguieron recuperar la visión del ojo que le quedaba, porque es tuerta, así que desde entonces Marina se apaña muy bien, y junto con Lucy, son muy amigas de Rosita, la oveja abuelita del Santuario, amigas inseparables.

Ismael, one of the founders of the Sanctuary, was telling Ramón and Guillem that their new enclosure in the new land is being built. An area of 7 thousand metres where they will be able to run and eat fresh grass.
Whilst he was talking to them about the new place, Marina came up and stood there listening carefully to his words. Ismael talked to her about her new home too, and let her know that them all will be able to move real soon.
Ramón and Guillem were two survivors from the river Ebro floods in Zaragoza. We didn´t have the space for them after their rescue, but we thought we’d manage to get the new land and we decided to take them in. They are currently housed in a temporary little enclosure that we had to built before their arrival. We’re looking forward to bringing them to the new place and seeing them running as they deserve to, but firstly we need to fence the pigs area.
Marina is a sheep who came from Majorca. She was pregnant and blind, and had been left to die tied to a tree in the middle of the summer months. Two weeks after her arrival at the Sanctuary, she gave birth to her daughter Lucy. The founders of the Sanctuary succeeded in recovering the vision back in Marina’s only eye. She’s been able to fend for herself since then. She and Lucy are best friends with Rosita, the Sanctuary granny sheep.
