THEY WERE SLAVES AND NOW THEY ENJOY THEIR FREEDOM

Lidia, pictured on the left, is a mare who arrived from Galicia. She had been exploited all her life, used by humans, and when she grew old, she was abandoned. The townhall of the town she was in, auctioned her, and as noone bid for her, she was going to be sent to the slaughterhouse.

Paula was exploited by being used for entertainment. She was used for racing, and when her lungs bursted and couldn’t be used for racing anymore, she was put in a 10sqm enclosure, where she couldn’t move, walking on her own excrements and having a really bad nutrition. Now she is taking medication for the rest of her life, has started to improve, and has put on some weight.

They now live happily thanks to your help, because all this wouldn’t be possible without you.

Will you help us to carry on saving lives?
