Ellos son dos broilers, que son seleccionados genéticamente para que crezcan y engorden en muy poco tiempo, tanto que con tan solo 41 días son ya enviados al matadero.
Él hace muy poco estuvo ingresado en una clínica veterinaria porque al tener los órganos tan grandes, le presionaban el nervio ciático y una de sus patas ya no le respondía.
Desde que eso pasó, él ya no quiere salir del gallinero donde duermen por la noche, pero Irene no se ha apartado de él en ningún momento, tanto que ni sale a comer fuera y es por eso que les ponemos a los dos la comida y el agua dentro porque ella se niega a salir fuera y dejarlo solo.
Irene se pasa todo el día tumbada junto a él y si alguien viene a molestarlo lo defiende.

They’re two broiler chickens. This type of breed is genetically selected to grow and fatten up so quickly that they are sent to the slaughterhouse being just 41 days old.
Not long ago he was admitted in the veterinary hospital. The bigger size of his internal organs pressed the sciatic nerve which affected one of his legs.
Since then, he doesn’t want to get out the henhouse where they sleep at night. Irene hasn’t got away from his side during all this time and she wouldn’t get outdoors either as she doesn’t want to leave him alone. This is why we have placed food and water indoors for them both.
Irene spends the whole day laying by his side and if anyone dares to annoy him she would defend him.
