Rita es una vaca de 20 años que vivía en Cantabria.
Las vacas como ella son utilizadas para la producción de carne, pariendo todos los años un bebé para que sea enviado al matadero y así vender su carne.
Las vacas como Rita que son tan mayores, ya son enviadas al matadero porque no aguantan el invierno, ya que son encerradas en cuadras, pero en Santuario Gaia quisimos darle una oportunidad a Rita para vivir libre y feliz junto a los demás habitantes del Santuario.
Para que podamos seguir salvando vidas necesitamos colaboradores que nos ayuden con los gastos. Puedes apadrinar/amadrinar a Rita o a otro habitante a partir de 10€ al mes.

Rita is a 20 years old cow who lived in Cantabria.
Cows like her are reared for meat. They give birth every year and their babies are sent to slaughter to sell their meat.
Older cows like Rita cannot cope with the confinement inside a stable during the winter months and they’re sent to slaughter. We wanted to give Rita a second chance to lead a free and happy life with the other Sanctuary residents.
