Ramón y Guillem se quieren mucho
Juntos vivieron una experiencia que les cambió la vida, junto con otra cerdita que murió al día siguiente de ser rescatada por el mal estado en el que estaba. Ellos fueron los supervivientes de las terribles inundaciones del río Ebro a su paso por Zaragoza, donde murieron más de 10 mil animales.
Se encontraron juntos y desde entonces no se han separado, han pasado de nacer en una jaula donde su madre no podía moverse, y donde seguro algunos de sus hermanos murieron aplastados por su propia madre al no tener movimiento. Fueron separados más tarde de ella para ser engordados y a los seis meses enviarlos al matadero.
Dos semanas antes de que el camión fuera a por ellos para arrebatarles la vida, el cielo lloró tanto que lo inundó todo. Ellos se salvaron y enSantuario Gaia vieron por primera vez el sol, la tierra, la hierba, y sobre todo conocieron el amor, el respeto y la libertad.

Ramón and Guillem love each other a lot
Together they lived an experience that changed their lives and that of another baby sow. Unfortunately she was in such a poor condition that she died the day after they were rescued. Ramon and Guillem were survivors from the terrible river Ebro floods in Zaragoza, where over 10 thousand animals lost their lives.
They were found together and have never kept apart ever since. They were born in a gestation crate where their mothers could hardly move. It’s more than probable that their sibblings died crushed by their mothers who had restricted movement in the crate. They were later separated from their mums to be fatten up and send to the slaughterhouse being just six months old.
Just two weeks before they were due to take that lorry that would carry them to have their lives taken away, the skies cried so much that everywhere was flooded. They managed to survive and were able to see the sun, the soil and the grass in Santuario Gaia for the very first time, but above all, they were able to find love, respect and freedom.
