Las ovejas y cabras del Santuario han estado 21 días tratándose de pedero, una infección en las pezuñas. Durante todo este tiempo las hemos estado cogiendo de una en una para curarle las pezuñas.
Si esto hubiera pasado en una explotación ganadera, habrían terminado todas en el matadero, porque no les es rentable.
Hoy por fin, ya totalmente recuperadas, han salido a estrenar un nuevo terreno al que nunca habían ido, ya que hace unos días terminamos de vallarlo.

Sheep and goats roaming free after a 21 days recovery.
The sheep and goats of the Sanctuary have gone through a 21-days treatment for footrot (a hooves infection). During this time it has been necessary to treat them all with individual cures.
Today, at last, they’re fully recovered and we’ve taken them to the new field, which we finished fencing just a few days ago. They had never been there before.
