Hoy os queremos hablar de los habitantes que han llegado al Santuario desde Mallorca.
Vero llegó con pocos días de vida al Santuario debido a que tenía una pierna más corta que otra, y por ese motivo una persona se compadeció de ella y la salvó de terminar en un plato, ya que había nacido en un restaurante donde crían cabras enanas para elaborar su especialidad culinaria. Al tiempo de estar en el Santuario le creció la pierna y está estupendamente.
Marina llegó embarazada, tuerta y ciega. Fue encontrada atada a un árbol para que muriera en pleno verano sin comida ni agua, por ser inservible. A los dos semanas de llegar dio a luz a su hija Lucy, la cual no ha conocido lo que es ser explotada y ha nacido en libertad. Conseguimos recuperar la visión del ojo que le quedaba a Marina y ahora vive feliz junto a su hija.
Jordi llegó con pocos días de vida al haber sido encontrado llorando alrededor de su madre muerta. Él tenía una enfermedad que le hizo perder los párpados y trozos de oreja. Llegó ciego pero con el tiempo conseguimos recuperar la visión de uno de sus ojos. Ahora vive feliz en el Santuario y enamorado de otra corderita llamada Olga.
Celia nació con malformación en sus dos extremidades delanteras y por eso fue tirada a la montaña, para que muriera. Unos activistas la salvaron y ahora vive feliz en el Santuario. Nosotros somos su manos y sus pies y estamos luchando para darle una buena calidad de vida y que un día pueda caminar por si sola.

Today we want to talk about the residents who arrived at the Sanctuary from Majorca.
Vero was just a few days old when she arrived at the Sanctuary. One of her hind legs was slightly shorter. A person felt sorry and saved her from ending in a plate. She had been born in restaurant which breeds pigmy goats to elaborate their special dishes. After some time living in the Sanctuary, the shorter leg grew up and she’s fantastic now.
Marina was pregnant, blind and had one eye missing. She was found tied to a tree, left to die in the middle of the summer, without food nor water, after being deemed unfprofitable. Two weeks after her arrival, she gave birth to her daughter Lucy. Lucy was born free and has never been exploited. We managed to get the sight on Marina’s only eye back. She now leads a happy life along her daughter.
Jordi was a few days old at his arrival. He had been found crying around the body of her death mother. She had an illness that made him lose his eyelids and part of his ear. He was blind, but with time, we succeeded in recovering the vision in one of his eyes. He now lives happily in the Sanctuary and is deeply in love with another lamb called Olga.
Celia was born with a deformity in her front legs. As a result of this, she was abandoned in the mountain and left to die. Some activists saved her and she now lives happy in the Sanctuary. We are her hands and feet and keep on fighting to ensure that she has a good quality of life and that, in the future, she’s able to walk unaided.
