Ayer por la mañana temprano cuando fuimos a coger a los cabritos machos para llevarlos al veterinario para esterilizarlos, al coger a Dani para meterlo en el transportín nos dimos cuenta que era una chica.
Fue un momento de muchas risas en el Santuario porque durante mucho tiempo hacíamos alusiones a que su carácter parecía el de una chica El fallo fue que llegaron al Santuario a las 4 de la mañana después de un largo viaje desde Galicia, y fue en ese momento cuando miramos cuantos chicos y chicas había para ponerle sus nombres. Llegaron tan enfermos que nuestra preocupación era la de ponerle suero a los que lo necesitaban y medicar, y entre eso y el cansancio que llevábamos encima no miramos muy bien, y claro, nunca más nos dio por mirarle su sexo.
Así que nada, ahora en vez de llamarse Dani se llama Daniela 🙂

Yesterday early morning, we went to pick up the male kids to bring them to the vets for neutering. When we picked up Dani to place him in the pet carrier we noticed he was a girl.
It was a hilarious moment in the Sanctuary because for quite a long time we had referred to his character as being more girlish. The mistake was that we sexed and named them when they arrived at the Sanctuary at 4.00am after a long journey from Galicia. They were so sick at their arrival that our main concern was administering fluids and medication, and that, added to our tirenes meant that we didn’t look properly. After that, we never thought about looking at his sex again.
So from now on, instead of Dani she will be called Daniela 🙂
