Celia is fully enjoying her new wheelchair

Celia is a goat who arrived at the Sanctuary from Majorca when she was just a few days old. She was abandoned in the woods because she had been born with a deformity in her front legs.

She has a very strong bond with her caregivers because she knows they are her hands and feet, but from now on she can be more independent.

We have lived very heart-touching moments with her and the other residents. As soon as we placed Celia in the wheelchair, she felt so good and grateful that didn’t stop leaning her head on the founders demonstrating her affection. The same have done the other residents with her when she joined them. They have displayed a loving behaviour towards her and have been playing happily together.

It is during moments like this that we notice they love each other like a big family, that they suffer when one of them is not feeling well, and that they get happy when the other get better or feel glad. We have lots to learn from them. They teach us how to live everyday.

We want to thank Ortocanis for the quick response and good treat and facilities they have given us to buy the wheelchair.
