Celia ha estado de nuevo en el veterinario

Ayer llevamos a Celia hasta Barcelona, para que la vieran en la UAB, donde están tratando su caso y colaborando desinteresadamente con el Santuario.

Se le ha vuelto a colocar otra férula, con la que tiene que estar dos meses más, y se volverá a revisar otra vez. Cuando cumpla seis o siete meses habrá que realizar una cirugía de su mano, para que la pueda apoyar correctamente.

En la UAB se quedaron muy sorprendidos con Celia, al ver el vínculo que tiene con los fundadores del Santuario, a los cuales perseguía continuamente y los llamaba, sin quitar su vista de ellos.

Celia es una cabrita que fue abandonada con pocos días de vida al haber nacido con una malformación, pero en Santuario Gaia le dimos un hogar, donde estamos haciendo todo lo posible para que tenga una vida digna.

Celia has been to the vet once again.

Yesterday we took Celia to Barcelona. UAB (Barcelona Autonomous University) are dealing with her case and helping the Sanctuary out of charge.

Celia had a new splint put on. She’ll need to wear it during the next couple of months and will have another check up after that. When she becomes six/seven months old, she will require surgery so that she can properly lean on her front leg.

UAB staff got very surprised on seeing Celia’s bond with the founders of the Sanctuary. She spent the whole visit following and calling for them everywhere, keeping her eyes on them all the time.

Celia is a little goat who was abandoned when she was just a few days old because she had been born with a deformity. However Santuario Gaia has become her new home and we are doing everything we can to give her a proper life.
