Marsella is a baby goat that a farmer from Almeria had left to die without any veterinary care. She could not stand up and had been left in the countryside unable to feed or drink. Two people rescued her and got in touch with us.

She has been hospitalised in Madrid at the UAX Veterinary Hospital during the past two weeks. She’s getting all the care she needs and several tests have been carried out to get a diagnosis. Spinal injuries have been ruled out and the results from the latest tests seem to indicate she has been poisoned. She had also developed an infection which has affected her limbs.

Her overall condition has improved during the past few hours. As you can see on this video, she has now started to walk thanks to the physiotherapy sessions. We don’t want to get too excited yet but these images are full of hope and we’ll carry on fighting for her.

We’d like to thank those of you who have donated to cover the expenses incurred during her hospitalisation.
